Knits for Kids 2017
WLAK will be donating completed items to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in the Antelope Valley. Aya's mom, Juliet, will personally deliver these toys to the DCFS office.
We donate to a branch of the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). Children that are taken away form their home often have no possessions and being in the foster system is frightening and lonely. Having something that is unique and made just for them is so special. The social workers were so delighted and impressed with the knits that were collected in 2016. They were touched at the amazing handmade toys for the children. Thank you all so much!!

This is a project to have fun with! You are welcome to make any toy that you would like. Knitted as well as crocheted items are welcome. You can make anything your heart desires and add your own personal touch. Take a look at the Ravelry bundle we created with some free knit and crochet patterns.
FINISHED ITEMS MUST BE DELIVERED TO AYA BY JUNE 15, 2017!!
This project was a big hit in 2016. Look at some of the toys that our members worked up!
